LAW & GRACE. IV

Our excursion through the terrain of Law and Grace takes a necessary and detailed pit-stop at why each soul needs to strive to establish a rapport with The Father and The Way Christ. 

We had shown in earlier posts why and how souls, created for higher purposes, ended up in materiality flesh. You may wish to go back and refresh your memory or to catch up with the evidence from the Akashic posted in this blog.

The Father wants all souls to return to Him, The Source. The journey entails purification of thoughts, words and deeds. The process is made easy with absolute dependence on God's will. 

The dependence must be unequivocal. The results of ceding to the Divine Will include control of nature and freedom from the laws of mind and body. How is this possible?

No wonder, only one soul has achieved this in materiality, Jesus--The Christ. Hence, He is ever ready and willing to step in for those who obey The Law and follow His footsteps.

So, it is still vital to revisit why we need to seek salvation through obedience. At the end of the day, it is incumbent on each individual to willingly surrender self. Notwithstanding, none is under compulsion to follow the requirements.

We turn over to The Akashic:

It is never by chance that a soul enters any material experience; rather by choice. For, the will is the birthright, the manifested right of every soul. It is the gift of the Creator, yet it is the price one pays for material expression.  2464-2

No one enters any experience by chance, but that all may come to know their relationships to the Creative Force.  2891-1

Each entity enters a material experience for a purpose; not accidentally, not by chance. But life and it's expressions are purposeful.  1792-2

We meet very few people by chance, but all are opportunities in one experience or another. We are due them or they are due us certain considerations.  3246-1

Each individual constantly meets self. There are no coincidences, or accidents, that arise in the meeting of people or individuals.  2074-1

Nothing is by chance, but is...a pattern of...the choices made by the entity in its relationships to things, conditions, and...entities.  1825-1

  
The choice is ours whether to continue along the same trajectories of many lifetimes. They account for all our experiences in this lifetime. Some people may try to, due to egotistic interpretation of the doctrine of exercise free-will, ignorantly present surrender to the Divine Will as an abdication of free-will. How?

Material-minded people use ego-induced logic to frighten the unsure. You lose everything by surrendering to the will of The Father. You are entitled to free-will. 

Such folks fail to realize that in surrendering, each individual makes a choice. Each soul, at some point, will no longer be able to live with the dictates of the conscious mind. 

Then it says you know what, let me try something different. I was led to this path when my soul was exhausted with my ego as a dominant presence. It was ready for a change from the drudgery of dependence on the conscious mind.

Equally, conscious me I was fed up with the conscious part of me. These enabled me to start the process of coming to terms with what God The Creative Forces require of us.  

Ever since, I can attest to remarkable changes--for the better--in my mental attitude towards material experiences. Although, so-called problems have not evaporated, I have an abiding presence of peace. 

The decision to cede control of all issues to The One, through obedience to The Law as taught by The Master, gives me the perspective that the real me is in control! Not the minds of others.

May the light of the love of the Christ be our guide in all activities.

CHRIST-CONSCIOUSNESS AND THE WORLD RELIGIONS

It is appropriate for us to consider the place of Christ-Consciousness as it relates to all the religions known to mankind from the beginning of time and forever. Put differently, does religious affiliation debar one from practicing a Christ-based spiritual life? 

In other words, should the practice of  Christ-based spiritual living be limited to membership of any religion or philosophy? Or should it be seen as the apogee of the quest--from any direction--to abide by God's Creative Forces' rules for us?

Q-What part did Jesus play in any of His reincarnations in the development of the basic teachings of Mohammedanism, Confucianism, Shintoism, Brahminism, Platonism, Judaism?

A-As has been indicated,  the entity--as an entity--influenced either directly or indirectly all those forms of philosophy  or religious thought that taught God was One..."Know, O Israel, the Lord thy God is One!' (Deuteronomy 6:4) whether this is directing one of the Confucian thought, Brahmin thought, Buddha thought, Mohammedan thought; these are as teachers or representatives...but it's God that gives the increase...

What are the  commandments? "Thou shalt have no other God before me," and "Love thy neighbor as thy self." In this is builded the whole law and gospel of every age that has said, "There is One God."  364-9

To clear up any misconception(s), let us add the Akashic's definition of the term Israel before continuing.

For those who seek are indeed Israel, and Israel indeed is all who seek; meaning not those as the children of Abraham, but of every nation, every tribe, every tongue--Israel of the Lord! That is the full meaning of Israel.  2772-1

Q-What should be understood by the statement (Genesis 49:10), "The scepter has not departed from Israel"?

A-Israel is the chosen of the Lord, and that His promise, His care, His love has not departed from  those that seek to know His way, that seek to see His face, that would draw nigh unto Him. This is the meaning, this should be the understanding to all. Those that seek are Israel. So Abraham means call; so Israel means those who seek. How obtained the supplanter the name Israel? For he wrestled with the angel, and he was face to face with the seeking to know His way.  262-28

Let there be the  study, the closer study of the promises which are made in the book, yes, the history of the Jew; yet these having failed, who is Israel?  Not the Jew, but Israel is the seeker after truth.  5377-1

We now continue with what the Book of Records has for us on the role of Christ in all religions and philosophies that have been and will ever come about on the earth plane. 

Remember, Christ Consciousness has been, from the beginning of time, on the spiritual plane. Manifestations of same on the physical plane thirty times--culminating in the attainment of it Christhood while in human body by Jesus--and the attendant establishment of a path towards God is what Christ based spiritual life is all about.

But remember, truth is truth in any language, in any clime and that which man seeks to subscribe is, namely; "Thou shalt love the Lord thy God, with all thy mind, thy body, thy soul, and thy neighbor as thy self (Luke 10:27)." The rest of philosophy, the rest of theology is only the explaining of that in individuals' lives.  5037-2 

Q-Which person, or group, today, has the nearest to the correct teachings of Jesus?

A-This would depend upon who is the judge. The teaching, the consciousness of the Christ-life is a personal thing. And hence they that are aware of His abiding presence are the nearer.

Who? They that walk with Him and do not, cannot, will not force themselves on others--even as He.  1703-36

Q-Is faith of man in Buddha or Mohammed equal in the effect on his soul to the faith in Jesus Christ?

A-Each in their respective spheres are but stepping stones to that that may awaken in the individual  the knowledge of the Son in their lives.  262-14

All religious faiths have their element of truth.  900-59   

One's religion, one's love of the fellow man, one's love of the Creator is a living thing-- and not just form only!  1564-1

The purpose, yea, the intent of religion is that peace may be to body and mind of those who embrace same.

Then the fewer definitions there be of that to which an individual is to subscribe, the the greater may be the peace and the harmony in the experience of every soul.  1467-3

In God, in the Son, in the Holy Spirit, there is no creed; for creeds are only man-made. And remember that creeds are like those things that are done as in rote. However, to some rote becomes necessary.  2420-1

The church is within yourself and not in any pope or preacher, or in any building but in self! For thy body is indeed the temple of the living God, and the Christ becomes a personal companion in mind and body; dependent upon the personality and individuality of the entity as it makes practical application of  the tenets and truths that are expressed.  5125-1

A particular church organization* is well. For it centers the mind. But don't get the idea you have the whole cheese.  3350-1

*Substitute church organization with any religion or philosophy. Response was given to a Christian seeker.

As He has given, it will ever be found that Truth--whether in this or that schism or ism or cult--is of the One source. Are there not trees of oak, of ash, of pine? There are the needs of these for meeting this or that experience.  254-87

O what crimes have been committed in the name of religion!  3344-1

Science and religion are one when their purposes are one.  5023-2

Q-Is Gnosticism the closest type of Christianity to that which is given through this source?

A-This is a parallel, and was the commonly accepted one until there began to be set rules in which there were attempts to take short cuts. And there are none in Christianity!  5749-14 

It is indeed not strange there are even in the protestant churches, Methodist, Christian, Baptist, Congregational or the what, but it is to meet the needs. What is God? All things to all men that all might know Him. Not that one is better than the other.  2072-15

Unless one is good for something, unless it is to make the experience of another appreciate the opportunity of the blessing of the spirit of truth in their activities, it must eventually come to naught. Hence not religion, not even goodness, but rather the application of not tenets but the acts and the soul of the Christ-Consciousness in the material world is to be sought.  276-6

How did thy Master work? In the church, in the synagogue, in the field, in the lakes, upon the sands and the mountains, in the temple. And did He defy those? Did He set up anything different? Did He condemn the law even of the Romans, or the Jews, or the Essenes, or the Sadducees, or  any of the cults and isms of the day? He gave, all are as One--under the law. And grudges, schisms, isms, cults, must become as naught; that thy Guide, the Way, thy Master, yea, even Christ--as manifested in Jesus of Nazareth--may be made known to thy fellow man.  254-92

We have just read what the Book of Remembrance spells out as the essence of a spiritual life. Having come this far, remain steadfast in prayer: Let Him guide you daily and every moment to maintain the arduous task of manifesting His love in thoughts, words and deeds. 

May the light of the love the Christ be your guide in all activities.

BALANCING: WORK AND REST. I

The Forces made the suggestions subtly. We did not take note. Eventually, they got our attention and we were compelled to take a time out. They harped on the need for humans to learn how to balance the three aspects of our being. Have you forgotten the aspects? Never mind, starting from today your memory will be refreshed. 

How did The Forces make the contact? Forces on the spiritual plane speak to us via a medium we are comfortable and conversant with.  We shall leave it at this. With the passage of time, you shall figure it out and eventually experience it. Wouldn't that be great? Just be patient and steadfast with what we share. The Laws must be fulfilled!

The Master, Christ, took time off to relax and rest. From the Akashic records, we know that He not only gave out His only sister, Ruth, in marriage but solemnized the ceremony. For the curious minded, He had two brothers also. They were born by natural methods, unlike the Master Who was immaculately conceived, like His mother Mary. We shall show evidence of these facts at the appropriate time.

The Forces reminded us, too, that numbers are not God's way. In other words, rushing the number of posts or  striving to increase visitors to this site are irrelevant. We shall strive to be attentive in the future to avoid a longer hiatus. To cap the encounter, the  following information was given:

Take time to work, to think, to make contacts for a social line and for recreation. This old adage might well apply: after breakfast, work a while, after lunch rest a while, after dinner walk a mile.  3624-1

  

In the spirit of balancing work and rest, we have decided to revisit our postings so far. We know that there must be a fresh perspective for those who had read them earlier. 

In dealing with information from the Book of Remembrance, experience shows that going back to what has been studied almost always reveals new dimensions. May be, this might be one of the avenues for The Forces to communicate with you!

Consequently, the review--for old visitors--of what has been covered so far on this blog starts now. It is stunning how much ground has been covered. Yet, the journey is just starting!

WHY CHRIST BASED?

A recurring theme in this exploration and education will be: Mention of Christ Consciousness has no religious connotation. My circle of acquaintances spans the gamut of many of the worlds' belief systems. Any time I mention what I am into, my Christian buddies, almost always, jab: Do you believe in Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior? And He died for your sins?

My old self, full of law school influence, would have been grateful for any opportunity to debate and figuratively step on throats! However, with what I have experienced and learned from Him, (The Christ), now the approach is measured. The standard response is: I know there is Christ. I do not need to believe.

Holy smoke. Heresy in full color. Facial reactions to my harmless assertion are better experienced than narrated. Some do not reflect on the import of my statements. They robotically cry out: So you do not believe that He died so that your sins will be forgiven and you can make it to heaven? Constantly, references are made to the Bible and why I risk being a lifer in hell. I would have been outraged by this.

Now, I understand better. Such encounters provide opportunities for me to assess how far I have come from my proselytizing days while affiliated to different religious and esoteric groups. I also see them as avenues to contextualize many spiritual teachings and principles. The truth needs no champion for it is the champion of champions! 

The goal of Christ-based spiritual living is to demonstrate how practical knowledge trumps dogmatic obeisance. For instance, heaven and hell are states of consciousness created by our actions based on free will. Also, we grow to heaven not go to heaven. Furthermore, no two souls persons have exact levels of spiritual development. Consequently, there is no one size that fits all.

Any one on the earth plane is not here by chance or accident. The Master established the pattern. By incarnating thirty times and at the end sacrificing His life, The Way was set. The Christ Consciousness is now available to anyone who believes, knows and follows His precepts in all spheres of activities. This is how each willing soul would reconnect to the Creative Forces. Self must be conquered.                   

According to the Akashic, Intolerance is ignorance matured. It is not worth it to debate religion from a spiritual perspective. There are obligations in addition to a belief in Him. Believing without following His precepts is like trying to make omelet without cracking eggs. When one comes to this level of understanding, then, belief translates to knowledge of Him. 

As written accounts state and Akashic sources confirm, He stated, over and over, that His burden is not heavy. He did not prescribe onerous requirements. Love thy God with all your heart and love thy fellowman like thy self is the summary of His teachings. This is the key to spiritual enlightenment and practice.

Love from the spiritual perspective is providing assistance to the needy. This does not mean only material things. In fact, material help does not rank very high. But who am I to judge in the first place on this. A smile to a stranger, a word of encouragement to one who is down, resisting the natural urge to judge and condemn rank higher on the spiritual scale of love. 

The greatest display of love is to see something good in anyone who despises you or uses you. Every human being has an element of the Divine within. It might be masked by the dominance of misplaced good evil. How do we know this? By extrapolating what the Master did and the Akashic Sources tell us. For example, what was His reaction to the charges brought against a lady accused of adultery?  He without sin should cast the first stone. He then told the woman to sin no more.

What is sin? Departing from the will of the Creative Forces. In other words, engaging in non-constructive thoughts, words and deeds. It is impossible for anyone to unequivocally claim immunity from any shortcomings. Yet, the sun still shines on all. We all breathe the free air provided by the Creative Forces. 

Even those who do not believe in God are allowed to enjoy the wonderful free gifts of nature. This is the ultimate love. So, love is knowledge that not all souls have evolved to the point of accepting what one deems right or wrong. As such, with this at the back of the mind, it is possible - though not quite easy - to let go of perceived shortcomings from others.

This is what Christ-Based spiritual living is all about. The Creative Forces overlook our shortcomings in the same measure as we give others a break when they err. However, we have to dispense this with the affirmation of our ideals. On the surface, these appear contradictory. Paradoxes are recurring themes in comprehending the operation of spiritual laws. Comprehension of the spirit of higher laws makes seeming paradoxes easy to grapple with.

In affirming our ideals when dealing with others, the intention is what matters. Am I acting to avenge a misdeed or to show tough love? In Christ-Based spiritual living, there is no tough love but loving indifference. The goal of this way of life is to allow the will of God to always prevail in all circumstances. This is heaven on earth.

What can we do to display loving indifference in the face of an issue, say, verbal hostility? Christ Based spiritual living is anchored to prayers. Not praying in the in the orthodox sense. New Age practitioners use the term affirmations to allude to this form of praying. Once you know the essence of communicating with the Creative Forces, it is easy to make up prayers on the fly. You will learn it here.

All situations, cheerful or otherwise, are opportunities to grow spiritually. On our own, because of self, it is easy to slide into selfish acts sin, which we try to justify otherwise. The guarantee against such is to seek guidance from the One who has experienced it all, is waiting and willing to help. How I wish I had known this earlier.

The first prayer when confronted by any situation, say you just won the jackpot!, is to say: Christ, what would you have me do? Do not analyze how He is going to respond or what the options are. Remember, He does not need our input on favored outcome if we genuinely request help. Just ask and forget about it. The guarantee is eternal, the response will come. However, it is only in patience that you possess your soul. Start now and watch how He will step into your life. 

For loving indifference, say, someone has pulled a fast one on you. In addition, to the above prayer add this:

         Father .... is Yours as I am Yours

          I am willing, I forgive

          I present the problems to You

         Use me, use him/her in whatever 

         may be Your will in this matter

 May you remain protected by the white Light of Christ Consciousness
